I've been practicing making empanadas like crazy, and it's paying off! I thinkI finally have it down, andI'll be doing an Empanada Workshop at the Denver Whole Foods(also known as Wild Oats, they haven't yet changed their sign...) at University and Orchard on Thursday, August 28th at 6:00pm.
We'll be makingPotato Picante Emapanadas from last month's Empanada of the Month, as well as Empanadas Margaritas and participants will learn the famed repulgue technique...
I'm just so delighted to be teaching this class, I can't even tell you! I guess practice makes perfect (well, at least I hope so)! To reserve a spot at the Empanada Workshop, call 303-798-9699, or email Janet.Fiorenzo@wholefoods.com. Hope to see you all there!

Rebecca, I wish I could join you!
We had some friends visit and went on an empanadas binge for the past week. I am going to start practicing making them with your recipes.
We also took our friends to Mendoza. What a charming city. I want to go back for another bodegas day tour. Check out the bodega Carinae next time you go!

How I wish Whole Foods would bring you to Los Angeles so that I could learn to make your delicious empanadas.
