Me encanta la carne de Argentina! My husband and I both served church missions in Argentina and every month we'll invite friends over for choripan with chimmichuri sauce. One of my favorite memories of Argentina is eating matahambre with our new friends. ::sigh:: One day we'll live there again!

Good to "hear your voice" Rebecca. :-)

What's this sharp cheese you speak of? In Argentina? Couldn't be...

me gusta!!!!!què rico, saludos desde Bowen, Mendoza , R.Argentina.

Hi Rebecca,
i like very much your blog postings!
I totally ignored that such tradition of cured meat existed in Argentina.
I wonder if they like to eat this type of food as we do, two or three slices of ham or mortadella or any other type of salami embraced by two pillows of freshly baked white bread (that's a panino in Italian, bocadillo in spanish) and a glass of good red wine.
I love to dine this way... it's a real treat for your mouth and brain.
;-)

Best wishes for the New Year!
